This is Round Pond located behind Stickney Lodge. You are allowed to fish there with artificial bait only.


: ATTENTION SPORTSMAN :

ACCESS TO ROUND POND IS A PRIVILEDGE, NOT A RIGHT. NO FIRES ARE ALLOWED

This pond is regulated under special regulation for ice fishing as well as open water fishing.

Consult your law book prior to fishing. Abuse of the special regulation of this pond, or property, could result in reverting it back to previous regulation status, or loss of public access to the pond entirely.

State of Maine Ice Fishing 2006/2007 Regulations state:

Special regulation S-24: Open to fishing for children under 16 years of age. Restricted to two lines per person. Daily limit on trout: 2 fish.

State of Maine Open Water Fishing 2006 Regulations state:

Special regulation S-6: Artificial lures only. EXCEPTION: Children under the age of 16 may fish under S-4.

Special regulation S-4: Use or possession of live fish as bait is prohibited. (The use of dead fish, salmon eggs, worms are permitted).
